The beauty of coral reefs, with their intricate forms, vibrant colors, and diverse textures, is a natural wonder that has inspired artists and designers across the world. However, coral reefs are also one of the most vulnerable
ecosystems, facing threats from climate change, pollution, and overfishing.
This project seeks to pay homage to the delicate and vital existence of corals by using them as the primary inspiration for a weaving project. The goal is to explore the textures and forms of corals through the medium of weaving, using various materials to create a collection of textiles that reflect the beauty of corals.
